Unlike with my snooker coaching I don’t teach the tactical aspects of pool. I do however work with pool players on their overall technique and on the mental side of their game to the same exacting standards as I would with snooker players.
I believe it is fair to say that snooker requires a different level of technique compared with pool, however, besides a few minor adjustments to be made (taking into account the lower table height, the smaller playing area and the smaller balls), there really is no reason why a pool player shouldn’t develop a shot process that would be the envy of any snooker player.
My methods cross over seamlessly and I really enjoy helping pool players to perfect their functionality; in fact in many cases big improvements can be made on a smaller table in a very short period of time.
